Safety Policy Community Protection
At GamingTether, our mission is to provide a safe, fair, and trusted marketplace for buying and selling gaming accounts. We know that the digital goods industry can attract scammers, abusers, and dishonest actors, which is why we take reports of abuse extremely seriously.

We have strict enforcement measures in place to protect our honest buyers and sellers. If you ever encounter suspicious activity or harmful behavior, please report it immediately. Your report helps us remove bad actors and maintain trust in the gaming community.

🚨 What You Should Report

The following activities are strictly forbidden and must be reported without delay:

Scams & Fraudulent Account Sales
Any attempt to sell fake accounts, accept payment without delivering, or resell banned/disabled accounts is fraud. Scams harm both buyers and the reputation of the marketplace. Confirmed cases result in permanent bans and may be escalated to payment providers or law enforcement.
Reclaiming Sold Accounts
Sellers who attempt to take back accounts after selling commit theft and destroy buyer confidence. This is one of the most serious forms of abuse in account selling. Such behavior leads to instant lifetime bans and may be reported to game publishers or law enforcement.
Harassment & Abusive Behavior
We do not tolerate harassment in any form, including insults, hate speech, threats, spamming, or toxic language. Respectful communication is required at all times. Users engaging in harassment will be suspended immediately and permanently removed for repeated offenses.
Stolen, Hacked, or Phished Accounts
Accounts obtained through hacking, phishing, or theft cannot be sold under any circumstances. These accounts often get reclaimed by the original owner, leaving buyers at a loss. Any seller caught offering such accounts will be permanently banned and investigated further.
Prohibited Services & Illegal Items
Our platform is for legitimate account sales only. Selling cheats, hacks, botted accounts, or items gained through exploits is banned. Such actions put buyers at risk of publisher bans and permanently damage marketplace integrity.
Off-Platform Sale Attempts
All account sales must remain within [Your Website Name]. Moving transactions outside (e.g., PayPal direct, Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord payments) eliminates buyer/seller protections. Off-platform sales are strictly forbidden and result in immediate account removal.
False Listings or Misleading Ads
Sellers must accurately describe accounts, including platform, level, characters, skins, and any other key details. Fake screenshots, exaggerated claims, or bait-and-switch tactics are not tolerated. Such listings will be deleted, and repeat offenders will lose selling privileges permanently.
Phishing & Identity Theft
Any attempt to trick users into revealing credentials, payment information, or personal details is a major violation. Fake login pages, malicious links, or impersonating our staff will result in immediate bans and possible criminal investigation.
Impersonation of Staff or Users
Pretending to be a marketplace admin, moderator, or another seller to mislead others is fraud. Only official accounts clearly marked by us represent our team. Impersonators will be permanently banned and may be escalated to relevant authorities.
Money Laundering & Suspicious Financial Activity
Our platform may not be used for laundering money, processing stolen funds, or conducting other financial crimes. Any suspicious activity will result in account bans and may be reported to financial institutions and law enforcement.
Spam & Malicious Activity
Flooding chats, reviews, or support with spam or malicious links harms the community. Spam activity will result in immediate warnings and eventual bans if continued.
Other Violations
Any action that violates our Terms of Service, Code of Honor, or User Guidelines can be reported. We review all reports carefully, even those not explicitly listed here, to keep the marketplace safe.

📝 How to Report Abuse

To report abuse:

  • Join our official Discord server.
  • Open a support ticket in the abuse-report channel.
  • Provide:
    • Offender's username
    • Link to the listing, profile, or chat
    • Screenshots or transcripts as evidence
    • A short description of what happened

Our Trust & Safety team will carefully review all evidence and act as quickly as possible. For serious issues like fraud or stolen accounts, investigations may be prioritized.

🔎 Investigation & Evidence Policy

Every report is reviewed fairly and without bias. We may request additional evidence, such as screenshots, payment confirmations, or chat logs, from both the buyer and seller. Submitting false or malicious reports is also considered abuse and may result in penalties, including suspension or permanent bans.

⚖️ Consequences of Abuse

Depending on severity, consequences for abuse may include:

  • Removal of fraudulent listings.
  • Temporary or permanent account suspension.
  • Forfeiture of pending payments or balances in escrow.
  • Permanent blacklisting from creating new accounts.
  • Escalation to payment processors, game publishers, or law enforcement.

We reserve the right to apply the strictest measures where necessary to protect our users.

🌍 Cooperation With Partners

We actively cooperate with trusted third parties to keep the marketplace safe. In confirmed cases of fraud or abuse, we may share relevant information with:

  • Payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) to prevent further fraud.
  • Game publishers (e.g., Riot, Epic, Supercell) if stolen accounts are involved.
  • Law enforcement agencies in cases of theft, fraud, or financial crimes.

🚫 Zero Tolerance Policy

We enforce a Zero Tolerance Policy for abuse. This means one serious violation is enough for permanent removal.

  • Fraudulent Sellers – Fake accounts, non-delivery, or stolen listings result in lifetime bans.
  • Reclaiming Accounts – Sellers attempting to take back accounts after sale will be banned permanently and reported.
  • Harassment & Abuse – Threats, discrimination, or toxic conduct result in immediate suspension and eventual permanent bans.
  • Off-Platform Sales – Attempting to bypass the platform voids protections and results in instant account deletion.
  • Phishing & Identity Theft – Users caught stealing data are banned immediately and may face legal action.
  • Chargeback Abuse – False disputes or chargebacks result in permanent banning and reporting to payment providers.
  • Repeat Offenders – Any user repeatedly violating policies will be removed regardless of reputation.

🚫 Malicious Reporting Clause

We value user reports, but false or malicious reports waste resources and harm innocent users. Anyone found intentionally submitting fake abuse reports will face warnings, and repeated malicious reporting may result in account suspension or permanent bans.

⚡ Community Responsibility Statement

Safety is a shared responsibility. Our staff work hard to investigate abuse, but the community plays an important role by staying vigilant. By reporting abuse promptly, cooperating during investigations, and following guidelines, you help build a marketplace where honest buyers and sellers thrive.

🕑 Response Time Commitment

We aim to review all abuse reports within 24–48 hours. Critical cases involving fraud, stolen accounts, or harassment may be escalated and handled sooner. While some cases require additional time for investigation, we commit to keeping users updated on progress whenever possible.

✅ Appeal Process

If your account is suspended or banned due to an abuse report, you may file a one-time appeal if you believe the decision was made in error. Appeals must be submitted via Discord support tickets or email within 7 days of the action. While we carefully review all appeals, please note that decisions are final in cases of confirmed fraud or abuse.

All reports are treated with strict confidentiality. We will never share your identity with the reported party. Our goal is to empower users to report freely and without fear of retaliation.
